It’s been another exciting term as our students take on new challenges, explore different perspectives and also reflect on what has been achieved.
Our February Newsletter highlights just some of the ways in which we encourage students to think beyond their immediate experience, whether that be through volunteering their time to read to younger students, or taking part in opportunities such as the Eton Exchange programme. This term we have had Zest Theatre Company performing in front of our 6th formers and asking challenging questions to ensure our young people reflect on their actions. We also had an exciting day with Google Expeditions on site, providing a virtual reality classroom to our students in Geography, History and Science which certainly encouraged students to see things differently!
One of our proudest moments was hosting Beauchamp Reunited, when our previous students came to collect their A Level certificates. Our students go on to study a wide variety of courses at institutions across the country and many go on to apprenticeships and work placements that allow them to pursue their goals in industries they are passionate about and we are pleased that Beauchamp has helped them on this journey. We are also delighted to be Top of the Tables achieving the highest Progress 8 score amongst state schools in the county as reported by the Leicester Mercury. The above reflects the hard work our students and teachers put in consistently to ensure the best outcomes for each and every student, and I am pleased to be working with such committed individuals every day.
