On Tuesday 34 A Level Graphic Communication students attended two fantastic exhibitions to support Y13 in their Designing and to inspire Y12’s for their future Alevel Project.
Made in North Korea: Everyday Graphics from the DPRK Was a rare glimpse into an isolated culture and the everyday objects and visual communication.
We then visited The fantastic Design Museum to see ‘Hope to Nope’ a prolific look into the role of Graphic Design and Technology in reacting to major political moments since 2008. The exhibition focused on public engagement and protest shown through graphics, film and publications.
Our students enjoyed a day immersing themselves in such an important area of Design which can often challenge their perspectives on society. A great day for all.
