Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

Based at the Beauchamp College, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a talented and inspirational Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our outstanding team from September 2018. Beauchamp College is an outstanding secondary school based in south Leicestershire and in addition to delivering KS4 and 5, have welcomed its first cohort of year 7 students this academic year.

The Modern Foreign Languages faculty comprises of a vibrant and dedicated team of subject specialists who teach French, Spanish and German at GCSE and A’ level and Mandarin to GCSE. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher, specialising in German up to A level and French to KS4 to contribute to this growing, high performing department. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge and passion for languages and be able to offer German and French to A’ Level.

We see Modern Foreign Language as an essential component of a balanced school curriculum and courses offered are very popular and are growing in popularity. We are proud of our track record and this year’s students achieved another set of outstanding GCSE and A ‘level results. This is accomplished through a collegiate approach, a desire for self-improvement, a good sense of humour and an attitude that is unafraid of change.

Head of Religious Education

To join our team in September 2018, we are seeking a forward thinking and innovative Head of Religious Education ready to lead a strong team. Beauchamp College is an outstanding secondary school based in south Leicestershire and in addition to delivering KS4 and 5, have welcomed its first cohort of year 7 students this September.

The department currently consists of 5 teachers who work closely together to deliver great student outcomes.   All students take the AQA GCSE RE course in year 10, with the majority continuing to year 11. At A level, we offer OCR Philosophy, Theology & Ethics, which attracts strong student numbers.

We are looking to appoint someone who can lead by example, is an excellent and enthusiastic teacher and is confident they are able to deliver high quality lessons. The desire to share good practice with the team and a can-do attitude is essential.

Director of Science

Leadership Pay Range L10-14

Lionheart Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional professional to join our Trust Leadership Team as Director of Science in our secondary phase. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, leadership and management of science education across our schools. Our vision is for all learners to grow in mastery of science whatever their prior attainment. We aim for our learners to become fluent in their use of science. We see this post holder supporting our colleagues to fully embed the aims of the national curriculum so that all pupils make exceptional progress in science, thus facilitating and unlocking potential in a wide range of other disciplines.

Lionheart Academies Trust was formed by Beauchamp College as outstanding provider.
