The Rainbow Road (W5)

The class delivers exercises from my teaching book 'The Rainbow Road' a teaching guide to mental health and wellbeing. It is about my experiences working within schools and community colleges, using different methods and tools to reduce stress. I have taught classes and workshops on mental health and wellbeing for 10 years and during this time I began to realise that stress and anxiety were common amongst us all, it wasn't just students who benefited from the exercises within the book, but also members of staff and individual adult learners who came to the community workshops, each one said that the exercises had made a significant difference in reducing their anxiety and stress levels on a daily basis. Working through the book teachers, mentors and the general public will learn about the affects of meditation, mindfulness, anger management and exam stress busting as well as looking at NLP and positive communication within the classroom. if you would like to know more about the content its available on www.lorrainejarramsbooks.com. During the six week course you will experience doing all of the exercises yourself, so that you feel confident to pass them onto your students or relatives at home. You do not need to buy the book in order to attend the course that is optional.
