trips
We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. At Beauchamp, students participate in enriching trips that offer real-world experiences, enhancing both academic knowledge and life skills. From volunteering with Camps International Expeditions in Peru, Tanzania and Costa Rica and subject specific trips such as Iceland and Sicily for Geography to our annual ski trips for Sixth Form students, our trips—whether abroad or within the UK—immerse students in invaluable cultural and educational experiences.
STUDENT EXECUTIVE TEAM
Our Student Executive Team, made up of elected Student Governors and Ambassadors, serves as the voice of our student body. Through regular meetings and focus groups, they work on research and proposals to actively improve life at Beauchamp College. This leadership opportunity is available to all new students each year, providing a platform for meaningful change and personal growth.
THE HOUSE SYSTEM
Beauchamp College’s vibrant House System brings students together in five houses: Drakon, Wyvern, Titan, Phoenix, and Pegasus. Sixth formers are actively involved in house competitions—both sporting and non-sporting—to earn house points and claim the prestigious House Cup. Students can also take on leadership roles, such as House Captains and Tutor Representatives, playing a key part in the organisation of house events.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND TEAMS
Our cutting-edge sports facilities, including a Sports Hall, 3G Pitch, and Fitness Suite, provide students with top-notch venues to engage in a variety of sports. Popular activities include Badminton, Netball, Hockey, Football, and Basketball, while more unique options like fencing and trampolining are also available for those eager to try something new.
MENTORING AND LEADERSHIP
Sixth formers at Beauchamp play a vital role in supporting our younger students. Through roles like Social Time Leaders—facilitating breaktime activities—or subject-specific mentors, they build confidence, leadership, and organisation skills that are invaluable for life beyond sixth form. These opportunities help students develop the soft skills that will serve them well in both their academic and professional futures.
