Fahad Siddiqui
From enjoying Health and Social Care and ICT at Beauchamp to supporting vital hospital technology, Fahad is building a strong career in health informatics.Fahad’s favourite subjects at Beauchamp were Health and Social Care and ICT — two areas that have shaped his career in healthcare technology. “My teachers gave me the skills and confidence to pass my A-Levels and GCSEs,” Fahad recalls.
After completing his studies, Fahad earned an undergraduate degree at De Montfort University before pursuing two master’s degrees: Healthcare Leadership at the University of Birmingham and Health Informatics at University College London.
His career began at a GP practice, followed by an IT role at Kettering General Hospital. Today, Fahad works as a Clinical Applications Analyst at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire, providing IT systems support for patient and clinical systems. His role ensures systems remain available to support continuity of care and involves implementing new technologies to improve hospital operations.
Looking ahead, Fahad hopes to progress into a Clinical Applications Team Leader role. Among his proudest achievements are gaining two master’s degrees, receiving an award for Innovation of the Year, and volunteering at major events such as the London 2012 Olympics and World Cup Cricket.
Fahad credits the strong foundation built at Beauchamp for giving him the confidence and skills to succeed in a continually evolving healthcare technology sector.
