ABOUT BEAUCHAMP COLLEGE - info for journalists
Beauchamp College is based in Oadby to the South East of Leicester. The College was founded in 1359, as Kibworth Beauchamp Grammar School, moving to its Oadby location in the 1960s. It currently has more than 2100 students and around 230 staff.
It provides an education for students aged 11-18, from secondary school through to sixth form, and was rated ‘Good’, with ‘Outstanding’ quality of education and sixth form, during an Ofsted inspection in March 2022.
Associate Principal, Mrs Alice King, has led the school since September 2022, with Executive Principal, Sally Wicken.
