Beauchamp College Year 10 Students Embark on a Memorable Trip to Paris
A group of 25 Year 10 students from Beauchamp College recently embarked on a four-day trip to the enchanting city of Paris, creating cherished memories and gaining valuable experiences. From iconic landmarks to cultural highlights and delightful culinary adventures, this educational journey left an indelible mark on their young minds.During their stay in Paris, the students had the opportunity to explore some of the city's most famous sights. They visited the historic Notre Dame Cathedral, where they admired its intricate Gothic architecture and captivating stained glass windows.
The students were also fortunate to witness a religious ceremony at the majestic Sacre Coeur Basilica, offering them a serene atmosphere and stunning panoramic views of the city from its hilltop location.
No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the opulent Palace of Versailles, where the students were transported back in time as they explored the grand halls, magnificent gardens, and the legendary Hall of Mirrors.
The students visited the world-renowned Louvre Museum, where they saw masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.
Of course, they couldn't miss the chance to climb the iconic Eiffel Tower and enjoy views of the city's skyline, and they also admired the grandeur of the Arc de Triomphe, a symbol of France's history.
As well as visiting the landmarks, the students enjoyed other highlights during their trip. They embarked on a delightful cruise along the Seine River, enjoying the city's picturesque landscapes and iconic bridges.
They also had the opportunity to explore the famous Champs-Élysées, checking out the shops, immersing themselves in the glamour of Parisian fashion and luxury.
Culinary delights were an big part of the trip, as the students tasted the flavours of French cuisine. They delighted in delicate pastries and mouthwatering crepes, expanding their culinary horizons and experiencing Parisian food.
To top off their adventure, the students climbed the Montparnasse Tower, where they were treated to panoramic views of the city, providing a lasting memory of Paris.
Our students had a truly memorable trip to Paris. From the iconic landmarks they explored to the cultural experiences they encountered and the delectable French cuisine they tasted, this journey broadened their horizons and left an enduring impression on their young minds. They returned home with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and history of Paris, inspiring future adventures and fostering a lifelong love for travel and discovery.
