Beauchamp Welcomes IBM Client Innovation Centre

We were delighted to welcome David Nathan, HCT Service Line Leader at IBM CIC, to our school in December as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting computing‑related careers and apprenticeship pathways.

David was joined by several current apprentices—including two Beauchamp alumni, Aryan and Hamza. 

During the visit, students learned about the history of IBM, its work with clients, and the entry requirements for IBM’s current apprenticeship opportunities. The session also covered the application process in detail, followed by a Q&A where students could put their questions directly to the apprentices.

Our students greatly valued the chance to hear first‑hand experiences from those already on the apprenticeship journey. Speaking with former Beauchamp students was especially inspiring and encouraged them to consider the diverse routes available in further education and future careers.

It was a pleasure to host IBM and to showcase the proactive steps we are taking to inform and empower our students as they plan their career pathways.
