PGL adventure for new Year 7s

Approximately 242 students, accompanied by 24 dedicated staff volunteers, made the trip, which was a fantastic opportunity for our newest learners to foster new friendships and settle into life at secondary school.

Learners threw themselves into a wide range of adrenaline-fuelled activities: from soaring down the zipwire and scaling the climbing wall to paddling across the lake in canoes. They also enjoyed disc golf, Jacob’s Ladder, and laser tag – all designed to challenge and excite.

Evenings were just as lively, with students dancing at the disco or bonding over football matches on the green.

We’re incredibly proud of how our students embraced the experience. Many arrived not knowing one another, but left with new friends, boosted confidence and a host of brilliant memories. Their behaviour, enthusiasm and willingness to step outside their comfort zones were truly impressive.

The trip marked a fantastic start to their time at Beauchamp – and we can’t wait to see what they achieve this year and beyond!
