Year 10/11 Girls’ Football Team Reach County Cup Final

The match, played at Seagrave, the training ground of Leicester City, was competitive and highly entertaining, with both sides playing their part. Despite a narrow 4–2 defeat, the girls produced a strong performance and showed great determination throughout, with the outcome in doubt until the final stages.

Reaching the final is a significant achievement, particularly as the majority of the squad were Year 10 pupils competing against older players within the age group. This makes finishing as runners‑up in the county an outstanding accomplishment.

Throughout their journey to the final, the girls represented Beauchamp with pride and should be immensely proud of how they played and conducted themselves. With so many of the squad eligible to compete again next year, there is plenty to look forward to next season, where, hopefully, the team can go one better!
